Getting the size right
Measure where the piece will actually sit, not your clothing size. If you land between two sizes take the larger one, since every piece adjusts down but none adjust up. The full guide is on the fit page.
The longer version
The upper row sits at the natural waist, the lower row rides the hip, and the drop between them is fixed by a spacer so it stays right whether you are standing or sitting. This is the piece that reads as expensive in a photograph.
